DirectGarmentPrinting.com is under new ownership. Originated in 2006 by Mark Bailey of Orzel Enterprises Inc., Mark’s goal for DirectGarmentPrinting.com was to provide assistance to others that used direct garment printers (a.k.a. digital garment printers). Mark used T-jet direct garment printers manufactured by USSPIT and being an engineer at heart, he gathered, through 2 years of trial-and-error, alot of practical hands on information for the T-Jet user that he loved to document on DirectGarmentPrinting.com. By understanding and working with the T-jet direct to garment printers, Mark gained a great insight into the innerworkings of direct to garment printers. He even started to document his hobby of reverse engineering a direct to garment printer in a way that it seemed you could make your own direct to garment printer at home. Although the T-jet digital garment printer was the baseline for Mark’s experimenting, much of this information has been helpful to other users of Epson 2200 base garment printers such as the DTG line of printers by SWFEast.
We plan to continue the legacy of Orzel Enterprises Inc. and make DirectGarmentPrinting.com the most comprehensive information resource to the community of direct garment printers. Not only will we keep the archive of the original direct to garment printing articles, blogs and tutorials written by Mark, we intend to continue our own periodic blogs of our own findings and mishaps. Over the coming months we will be dramatically increasing the scope and value of DirectGarmentPrinting.com. We will be doing and reporting our research and development of all the aspects of direct to garment printing. From marketing to fulfillment, from hardware to software, from buying decisions to selling, from buying full color direct to garment clipart to selling t shirt and hoodie designs created expressly for the vivid full color digital garment printing technology. It seems that no discussion of direct to garment printing would be complete without a detailed review and analysis of the Kornit brand of direct to garment printers. Billed as the most expensive of the digital garment printers, the Kornit brand is also used by the giants of the industry.
